What DMedia 2 taught me: Solve the equation with low tech warfare.

Problems with the "steps"

The pages of build section are beginning to agitate me, contrary to belief, I find this part the most challenging to conceptualize. As much as I'd like to streamline the process, this section forces me to actually expand the steps into 18 pages estimated, provided that I can get it to that number. Seems like seeing two arctic foxes eating Baskin Robins in the Sahara. I would really like to finish tonight but my greatest fear is it not happening at all.. Sloth :3 . I know Sagittarius form forbids negativity, but this looks like a job for me so everybody follow me, we need a little controversy or it will be so empty without me.

Update: Micro-site is almost done, If I can get this done by Sunday that will leave me the entire week to catch up with Web Design 1 which I have not really touched yet. Thanks to Hazmer for the trump card script, it totally rocks.

Update: I was taught a new code, this small piece of code shall be my trump card for this week's presentation. I am now preparing for This Wednesday's theater descent. Need to get the AS3 up and running... Hey Hey I don't think this is the code we should use. Maybe we should join a bowling team.

23.7.2008 Starlite: There may likely be no updates for the on-coming week as our entire class struggles to finish the rest of our assignments. However I'll be posting status snippets on how the rest of the other presentations will go. For today's Starlite Event, I've been blown away by one third year senior who demonstrated his "Touhou" inspired shoot em up. I so wanna do this in the future. Maybe Jerome is right, Games are the only way to go and I really love it. I was the last to present and finished the event with Silent World. I was literally shaking, it was probably wasn't my best :(

In other news: There's a sewage plant that will be named after Bush's. Obama still fascinates me. However I apologize for using his slogan but felt it was somewhat relevant to my presentation :)

I miss YONKOMA..

Last year my cousin and I did a series of comics, she drew two panels and I did the last two. It was fun an miss doing them so much. The world would be a wonderful place if we took some time off to draw stuff together; we'd be like kids again.

Maybe that's why Hidamari Sketch, Comic Party, Sketchbook Full Colors rocks. Which really means you should all watch Genshiken. Right now.

Trivia to the newbies: Yon Koma = 4(Yon) Comic (Koma) so basically 4 paneled comics.

Last week Hazmer introduced a case switch statement methodology of programming. I found it so brilliant but I'm already in a situation where my code is very hard to modify. I'll probably have one look at at it and see if I can but I really fear that there's no time to do so.


Starlight Presentation: Silent World
Tomorrow at 3:30 pm I will be representing my previous semester's work. I am very worried. I don't really feel so confident. I received feedback on the slides and there are still a lot of wrinkles that need to be ironed out and have yet to rehearse it.


Web Design1, Project 2
I went back to the drawing board for the website. But none of the professors can agree to the new direction. Actually truth be told I did not like it either so I plan to make some emergency changes. By this coming Friday. Madness right? I'm toying around with the layer system AP tag and believe only one of my other classmates know it. So I'm gonna see if I can beat him.


Design Method, Project 3
I'm planning to turn my research findings into a small web comic. So far it's just weird. I wonder if giving it a Dilbert look will suffice.

So I've just realized that my .Mac subscription is finally over and has metamorphosis-sized to MobileMe which surprisingly looks familiar to one of Micro$oft's defunct flagship products. But it's all good yeah. And I'll probably beta-test the little fudger tomorrow. But have a look at this, I did not realize how un-American I was when I signed up for iTools back then.. Because I am not.
